Nathan
Instructor
Yoga had always existed on the periphery of Nate's life. He used to roll out his mat at home and follow along with YouTube videos, dipping in and out of the practice. It wasn't until Nate moved to a small mountain town in British Columbia that yoga truly became a part of his everyday life.
Initially, Nate turned to yoga to build strength and prevent injury in preparation for his first ski season. But what he found was far beyond what he expected. Nate began to experience profound physical benefits: healing old injuries, restoring mobility, stabilising his joints, and creating balance between the hemispheres of his body. Alongside the physical shifts, he noticed a deeper transformation: reduced stress, greater mental clarity, and a stronger sense of self-awareness. Yoga began to influence not just how Nate moved, but how he lived and related to the world around him.
When Nate returned to Australia, he felt called to deepen his understanding and completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at BodyMindLife, followed by Yin Yoga training with Persia Juliet. Now, he teaches with the intention of sharing these deeper benefits, supporting others to reconnect with themselves, reduce stress, and find clarity in their lives. Nate's hope is that by helping others feel more at ease in their bodies and minds, their purpose can be realigned and they can live more authentically, creating a ripple effect of compassion and balance that extends far beyond the mat.
